Scientific Name - Valde Piscis Piscis (Temporary)

Common Name - The Greater Marine Eel

Length - N/A

Weight - N/A

Location - One sighting at night, 18 August 1998, 145 miles off the coast of the Galapagos Islands. A late-night scuba diver initially looking for nocturnal marine life, felt an unusually strong current pass by him several times. At one point, he turned his underwater flashlight to the left of him where he felt the current again. What he described was a 'massive, blue and green sea serpent as large if not bigger than a blue whale'. He states 'I did not truly spot it until I saw the shining light at the end of a tentacle-apendage attached to its head. My light was weak and the sheer size of the serpent had me dumbfounded and staring it awe.' In later released documents, the scuba diver also stated that the fins were a pinkish hue and the 'monster' had lights like that of the abyssal fishes along its body and possibly its head. He also took good note of the unusual shaped fins that resembled that almost of a turtle's and the large mouth with an extended lower jaw that did not close.
Minutes later, the creature [says the diver] after staying stationary [not quite moving it's fins] arched its body and slowly swam into the darkness of the night.

It's adorable and you all know it :C

Someone should teach me how to make-up scientific names so I don't have to resort to using the online translators incorrectly.

Tools used - Lineart made with a Micron Pen size 1.0 and coloring done in Photoshop Elements 2.0

Crit if you want. Not like I'm acutally going to change anything anytime soon xP

Wow. Is this for reals? Cause thats really intense.
But I love your take on the creature, something I would not like to find swimming by myself at night.
You did an amazing job on the detail and shading/highlighting. Eye catching.
